Applications for the 24th Annual Vocal Competition have been CLOSED!
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Annapolis Opera is no longer accepting applications for the 24th Annual Vocal Competition. Applicants that have already submitted their applications will be notified by February 17 of the results of the Preliminary CD-round and further selection of semi-finalists.
Annapolis Opera’s Vocal Competition gives opera students and young professionals in the Mid-Atlantic region the opportunity to hone their craft by performing for a blue-ribbon panel of judges comprised of respected music educators and opera performers. The competition is fierce, with the eight finalists selected from more than 100 outstanding applicants! Prizes total more than $10,000, with each finalist receiving from $500 to $2,500. In addition, the Grand Prize winner is invited to return for a recital evening opening the 2013 competition weekend!
